A Bit About Me!

Hello! My name is Carlos Manalo. I am a Graphic Designer, and Illustrator based in Portland, Oregon. I originate from a tiny island out in the pacific called Saipan. It is part of a chain of islands along the Marianas trench, together the neighboring islands make up the Northern Mariana Islands (N.M.I. for short).

I’m a creative individual and funny guy at heart.

It makes me happy knowing others around me are happy as well. Because of that, I try to always maintain a positive outlook and calm demeanor no matter the circumstance. With a hunger for growth, I constantly try to make the most out of my experiences. Under pressure I am focused and driven to make sure I make ends meet.

My interests are expansive: from books, to film, and everything in between. I’m an avid admirer of animation and I have always respected the art form. With such expansive interests and an incredibly high tolerance for virtually anything; I am adaptable to different environments, work, social, familiar, and unfamiliar.
